Episode 15 - On the Road Again

Where we last left off, our intrepid party had used the teleportation circle and escaped from Adrik’s Folly to a small Chapel of Rigga, the Earthmother.  Unfortunately, the Moonshard crystal was not located.

Drinking and securing as much holy water as possible, the party began their trek with Kevin and the Rybalka villagers to Galekin Estates, where they would meet Alexandra, Kevin’s wife, where the group could take shelter, find food, water, and form a defensible position if attacked.  However, it was 4 days away. 

Traveling the Northroad and dealing with dozens of tired, injured, hungry, and scared refugees under threat of pursuit, the group came back across a river where the bridge had been destroyed by a drow fireball.  The group was attacked by a group of frogs and then alligators, as one villager Gary cried out “the revenge of Thousand Teeth!” and the party drove them off. Unfortunately, Gary, was killed in the encounter.

Continuing on, the group passed through a red berry field where several hungry villagers that refused to eat frog legs, ate.  Convincing most of them to stop, a few ate them and became sick.

The party now continues on to Galekin Estates, but your manager, Colonel Amberaxe, while not a native to the area, informed the group he had never heard of Galekin Estates before.
