Episode 16 - Fee Fi Fo Fum

Where we last left off, our intrepid party continued to travel south on the Northroad as the party continued on to Galekin Estates, but your manager, Colonel Amberaxe, and some of the other villagers had never heard of Galekin Estates before.

Herding the cats, I mean villagers, they came upon a valley where two gargoyles set upon the party.   Unfortunately, a villager was lost as one of the gargoyles latched onto him and tried to carry him off.  To prevent a fate worse than death, the gargoyle was shot from the sky.  The villager survived the fall but died in the landing. 

Continuing on, the sounds of the river were just ahead.  Several of the villagers indicated they needed to use the restroom.   However, a drow spider-riding scout attacked, killing one villager in an attempt to capture her.  The drow rider and giant spider were quickly taken down.

Seeing no other drow, the party rested for the night.  However, they woke up the next day to a dryad, and a pair of angry unicorns.  Fortunately, the party convinced the villagers not to try, and ride said angry unicorns and convinced the dryad they were not her enemy and she allowed them to pass. 

Traveling more miles, the party came across the bridge crossing the river.  Using Scomitch’s, well cared for and loved familiar,  Fortissimo, he found a sleeping Hill Giant under the bridge on the far side.  Using Winter’s magical concealing abilities, the party was able to make it across and perform an alpha strike on the Hill Giant.  However, the giant called out to a fellow that dinner was here.  A second hill giant emerged on the far side of the bridge and, seeing the villager's tasty snacks, ate three of the villagers before Ary arrived. 

Now, we join the Hill Giant fight already in progress….
